This cold weather fusion photo comes from Derek MacSweyn of W.H. MacSweyn in Ottawa, Ontario. This family-owned construction company has been fusing pipe for 15 years and is heavily involved in gas collection expansions at landfills throughout eastern Canada. Most of their fusion operators receive their training from ISCO Industries. Here they are fusing a 10” sub-header main for a methane extraction pipeline at a landfill in Ottawa with a TracStar® 412 fusion machine. They’re using their Pit Bull® 14 to fuse the various smaller-diameter pipe on the job.
We appreciate all the essential businesses that make infrastructure projects like these possible in good times as well as trying times. Your contributions are invaluable.
