One of our TracStar® machines is hard at work Down Under fusing 560mm HDPE pipe for dual mains in Armstrong’s Creek in Australia. Shannon Hughes, a site supervisor with GEM Industrial, shared this recent photo from their jobsite. They’re currently working alongside Armstrong Constructions to complete this project. According to an article in the Surf Coast Times Australian newspaper earlier this year, Armstrong Creek was named a must-watch suburb as development continues to boom. Future development in this area includes schools, government offices and shopping centers, which are predicted to create thousands of jobs.
GEM Industrial has trusted McElroy for many of its pipe fusion projects. Pictured below is a jobsite from a few weeks ago where they used our TracStar® 412 to complete 180mm string welds. JAYDO Constructions was involved and their team member Justin Craig provided this photo. The team was grateful for good weather.
