Product Spotlight — Acrobat™ 160/250/315

The Acrobat fusion machines are specifically designed to meet the installation needs for polypropylene piping systems featured in the most advanced HVAC, mechanical and commercial plumbing applications today.

The medium-diameter Acrobats fuse 63mm to 315mm (2” to 12”) polypropylene pipe. These key features give these machines the flexibility to meet the unique demands of any jobsite:

SMALL FOOTPRINT & LIGHTWEIGHT – Acrobats are designed with a small footprint and optimal weight for easier operation when working overhead. The modular HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) consumes less power and it also lightweight for easier movement between fusions.

VERSATILE HYDRAULIC POWER – The Acrobat is compatible with two HPUs to meet the maximum system pressure needed on your jobsite: low force for low drag situations or with thinner-walled pipe or high-force for high drag and vertical applications.

FUSES IN ANY ORIENTATION – The Acrobats can fuse overhead, vertically or horizontally. Narrow jaws allow fusions to most flanges and fittings.

TOOL-LESS CARRIAGE CONVERSION — The carriage converts from 4 to 3 jaws without the use of tools for a more compact unit in tight spaces. The facer and heater can be loaded from the top or bottom (in the 3-jaw configuration) of the carriage to provide greater access.

DATALOGGER COMPATIBLE – Acrobat machines are compatible with the DataLogger® to record and document the key parameters of the fusion process. With joint reporting required on a growing number of jobsites, this is a very popular feature.
