2020 marks a big trade show year for McElroy and we are looking forward to pulling out all the stops to show the world the benefits of a fusible piping systems and the quality and capabilities of our equipment for polyethylene and polypropylene pipe.
Every few years the stars line up and we have two of our biggest shows taking place in the same year and 2020 is that special year. This means we’ll be spending a lot of quality time in Las Vegas, first with CONEXPO in March followed by MINEXPO in September.
CONEXPO will be expanding its exhibit space this year to include the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and we are excited about the capabilities of this flexible, new space located on the Las Vegas Strip next to the Circus Circus Hotel. Show organizers have ensured that exhibit spaces will be well connected by expanding transportation options including shuttles that will run on a continuous loop and complementary monorail passes.
We will also be incorporating some hands-on McElroy University training at CONEXPO. This will be a great opportunity for your customers who have never interacted with a McElroy machine to familiarize themselves with the fusion experience so please send them our way! Additionally, we look forward to showing off the latest features on the DataLogger® 6 including the new McElroy Optimized Cooling™ procedures and pressure testing capability. If you haven’t discovered what these new features add to your customer’s job performance for validation, productivity and competitiveness, you’re missing out!
McElroy proved that a self-contained, self-propelled, tracked machine was exactly what the mining industry needed when the TracStar® was introduced in 1997. That’s why there’s no place we’d rather be on Sept. 28-30 than MINEXPO. Our medium- and large-diameter TracStar™ machines will taking center stage at this world’s largest mining event.
But first up is the UCT 2020 trenchless show in Fort Worth in January followed by an extravaganza of the latest polypropylene tools at AHR in Orlando, Fla.
