We at McElroy would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted an entry into this year’s contest. When we debuted Champions of Fusion in 2022, we envisioned a space to highlight and showcase the hard work and dedication of thousands of fusion technicians who help us realize our vision of making the world a better place through better infrastructure. This year, we were blown away by the level of engagement in the contest, and we can’t wait to announce our Grand Prize winners in August’s newsletter.

Adrian Roberts captured this gorgeous shot of night shift winding down and day shift about to commence in the Ivory Coast in West Africa. This machine is on-site at Montage Gold, powering ahead to deliver a 30-kilometer pipeline before the rainy season.

Gedeon Dufitumukiza sent this photo from the Kivu Methane Gas to Power Plant (K56) project in western Rwanda. This is one of the largest projects of its kind in Rwanda.

If you know of an individual or team who completed – or is currently part of – a project featuring McElroy equipment, please encourage them to visit our online Champions of Fusion portal and enter our competition.
You can find past entries on the Champions of Fusion portal – more than 100 entries are archived there, dating back to our first competition in 2022.
In our August newsletter, we’ll announce our GRAND PRIZE WINNERS, plus our monthly winner for July- so keep an eye out next month to see who will receive a McElroy-themed swag bag!
