New DataLogger® 7 and TracStar® iSeries Calibration Feature Introduced

McElroy has introduced a new calibration program for the DataLogger® 7 and TracStar® iSeries which is easy and offers added benefits.  This new system is used in conjunction with the McElroy Vault so calibration reports can be stored in one location and allow for easy access.

A digital calibration report showing setup details for a sensor, including names, model, dates, and results summary. Buttons labeled BACK and EDIT appear at the top. McElroy logo is at the bottom right.

Calibration is key when it comes to ensuring the accuracy of the DataLogger’s pressure transducer. Machines are calibrated before shipment but require regular recalibration.  Our two newest innovations, the DataLogger® 7 and TracStar® iSeries, need to be calibrated with this new method.

A website dashboard displays user Mike Pacheco selected in the top right with a dropdown menu showing options: Profile, Accounts, Add Account, Calibrations, Admin, and Log Out above report summaries.
A device setup screen displays calibration details: first name Mike, last name Pacheco, company McElroy Manufacturing Inc., sensor serial 100776, firmware 03.03, calibration date 2022-07-22, barcodes, and navigation buttons.
  1. Connect the pressure transducer to DataLogger Pressure Calibration Stand and plug the cable into the port in the back of the DataLogger tablet.
  2. Open the Calibration application
  3. In Settings, enter your Vault account information
  4. Enter the technician’s information and calibration stand set-up details
  5. Follow the steps on the screen and capture the pressure values at the prescribed points.
  6. Once completed, access the calibration report through the profile menu of the Vault account. The report is also available via PDF with a digital signature so it can be easily sent electronically.

A screen displaying calibrator details: make/model XP2i, serial number 544375, certificate number 16210101, and due date 2022-01-28. Buttons for Back and Next are at the top, with McElroy logo at the bottom right.
A digital calibration screen shows pressure values for four calibrations, a large “3000 PSI” display, and a green “CAPTURE” button labeled “Captured 3000.” Instructions and navigation buttons appear above and below.
