The Beginning of the TracStar®: The first TracStar® made its debut in 1997 at the Phelps Dodge mine in Morenci, Ariz., one of the largest copper mines in the world. The self-propelled, self-contained, track-mounted 500mm fusion machine took on the rugged terrain with great success.
