McElroy has recently been made aware of multiple Getac tablets being sold on the second-hand market as McElroy DataLogger® 6 units. While these tablets may look like a genuine McElroy DataLogger, they are not authentic products and will not connect to the McElroy Vault™. As a result, these units will not function properly and cannot be supported by McElroy.
It is not possible to physically differentiate between an authentic DataLogger® 6 and an inauthentic unit. If you’re considering purchasing used or heavily discounted units, please proceed with caution. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the product’s authenticity before purchase.
