TRAINING IN CHILE

Training recently wrapped up in Chile with operators from EMIN who are getting ready to start fusion jobs this month at Las Tortalas. It’s all part of Anglo-American’s mining expansion project at Los Bronces, which is intended to increase South America’s copper production.  The group learned how to operate the TracStar® medium and large diameter fusion machines. They were also introduced to the DataLogger® and other quality control tools.

Two green McElroy pipe fusion machines are parked outside a yellow industrial building with a blue roller door and a PSAH sign above. The machines are on a paved surface under a partly cloudy sky.
