In 2022, McElroy kicked off our Champions of Fusion contest to highlight the contractors an operators who tirelessly work to live up to McElroy’s mission of improving the world through improved infrastructure.
By highlighting these boots-on-the-ground crews, we want to commemorate their hard work and expertise – and give them the opportunity to participate in INFUSION25.
The rest, as they say, is history. Since then, each year we’ve extended INFUSION invitations to our top-prize winners, with many of them traveling to Tulsa to enjoy three days immersed in the world of plastic pipe fusion.
Do you know a Fusion Champion?
McElroy’s channel partners have a bird’s-eye view of many of the new and exciting ways end users are utilizing McElroy equipment. If you know of an individual or team who completed – or is currently part of – a project featuring McElroy equipment, please encourage them to visit our online Champions of Fusion portal and enter our competition.
This year, we’re tweaking our Champions of Fusion contest to include monthly winners – and that’s where you, our channel partners, come in. Through your networks and knowledge, we hope you’ll take the opportunity to encourage operators and contractors to enter.
Each month, a winner is chosen from entries based on the number of votes. Pictured above is the submission from fusion technician Aqib Shabbir, who entered a photo of an HDPE project he worked on in Saudi Arabia. The pipe sizes for this project ranged from 630mm to 900mm SDR 17.
Because of its remote location, this job required careful planning and logistics, along with consideration for the extreme heat and harsh weather.
Monthly winners receive a swag bag of McElroy goodies. But that’s not all – they’re also entered to win the grand prize: an all-expenses-paid trip to INFUSION25 in Tulsa.
