Bug Fix

  • An issue was identified that prevented the firmware update process from completing on the Vehicle Control Module (VCM) on the Large Diameter TracStar® iSeries line.

This release includes the addition of German as a language preference, additional in-context specific help videos as well as highly requested improvements and features.

What’s New?

  • Added German as a language selection to the application user interface.
  • Added a new calibration expiration warning in the “Preference” settings. Toggling the setting “on” will enable a fusion setup warning which will prompt the operator to cancel or proceed if a sensor calibration is nearing expiration.
  • Added functionality to enable tablets to scan machine nameplate barcodes instead of the existing manual entry for carriage (CCM) and vehicle (VCM) components.

Bug Fix

  • Resolved performance issues and implemented improvements to the latest Android 14 version of the application.

Additions and Improvements

  • Added the joint ID number to the existing “Fusion Settings” drop down window. This improvement will display the joint ID number on the Logging screen during the fusion process for higher visibility.
  • Incorporated additional in-context short “help” videos into the operator interface. These short videos provide a quick overview of an operation, especially when connected to a Medium Diameter TracStar® iSeries machine. The videos can be accessed by tapping the green question mark icon in the corner of the screen during the fusion process.
  • The TEPA unit of measure can now be entered in metric units (mm) on “unlisted” machines during the fusion process.
  • Added connectivity improvements for the newest software version of the Highland VORTEX and Supercell electrofusion machines.
