New Technical Bulletin
TB198 – Troubleshooting Guide for NSM generators (TracStar® 500 all models)
This new technical bulletin is a troubleshooting guide specifically for TracStar 500 generators and provides instructions for diagnosis and limited repairs. Following the steps in this bulletin will help technicians more accurately and quickly repair their machines to get them back to work with minimal downtime.
Like other pre-existing generator troubleshooting guides, this one contains a section for documenting observed winding measurements. These measurements may be required by McElroy technical support for processing of a warranty claim.
McElroy distributors can access all tech bulletins through the distributor portal. If you would like a copy of a tech bulletin and don’t have access, please contact McElroy tech support for assistance.
Updated Technical Bulletin
TB178 – Troubleshooting Guide for Linz generators (TracStar® 630i, TracStar® 900i, and TracStar® 1200i)
Initially released in July 2021, this troubleshooting has been updated to include a documentation section for observed measurements. These measurements may be required by McElroy technical support for processing of a warranty claim.
New Warranty Labor Request Form
A new warranty labor request form link has been added to the incident request page.
The downloadable PDF must be filled out and submitted immediately after the incident request to recover labor and travel costs incurred performing warranty service.
The link is only available from the RMA/Incident management page once the incident has been submitted. Please begin using the new form immediately to guarantee efficient processing of your warranty claims and labor credits.

New Maintenance Training Module Available
MSE-1303 Rolling 28/250 Maintenance Inspection and Runout is the latest module added to the growing list of maintenance training available the McElroy’s online Learning Management System.
This course covers basic maintenance, inspection for damage and deficiency and proper runout for systems testing. This course, and many others, are open for enrollment in McElroy University.
