Meet your 2026 Monthly Champion of Fusion!

We’ve gotten some great entries so far in this year’s Champions of Fusion contest! These entries were received during February 2026.

First, let’s congratulate our MONTHLY SWAG BAG winner, Troy Norum!

Three workers in safety gear operate pipe fusion equipment at a construction site. Text reads CHAMPION, Troy Norum Delta, B.C., Champions of Fusion 2026, and features McElroy and Champions of Fusion logos.

Troy was called to the city of Delta, British Columbia after a barge hit a swing bridge and damaged a water main. His employer was called to fuse pipe and drag the pipe with a truck from the other side of the river.

During the project, Troy and others in his crew had two machines running all day!

Congratulations, Troy!

Our other monthly entries were:

A yellow excavator works at a construction site with exposed black pipes in sandy soil under a clear blue sky. The pipes are arranged vertically and horizontally in the trench.
Jared Szmul
Shields, Saskatchewan
A large construction site with two big black pipes, one on the ground and one held by green machinery. An excavator is parked in the background on sandy, uneven terrain under a clear blue sky.
Corbin Robinson
Savannah, Georgia
A warehouse forklift is parked indoors with pipes and equipment parts scattered around it. The forklift appears to be undergoing repairs or modifications. The large, open warehouse is mostly empty.
Denton Terry
Mustang, OK
A construction site where a yellow excavator lifts a metal pipe near rows of solar panels, with machinery and tools in the foreground under a clear blue sky.
Tyler Risner
