Here are just a few of the highlights of this year’s INFUSION:

NETWORKING EVENTS

Join your peers at the Flying Tee on Sept. 10 for an afternoon of golf games, world-famous courses and 3D sensors that track every swing on playback monitors. This new event takes place in the comfort of indoor and outdoor climate-controlled bays and you don’t have to be a golfer to take part. Cost is $50 and transportation is provided.

You can sign up for this event when you register and if you have already registered, there’s still time! Just tap the “Already Registered?” link to update your account.

Then in the evening, it’s time to party like it’s 1969 — all in the name of peace, love and fusion! Our opening reception is a celebration of McElroy and 50 years in the fusion business. Join us at the Margaritaville Restaurant donning your most-inspired hippie apparel.

BREAKOUTS

On Sept. 12, we’ve scheduled a full day of breakout sessions, panel discussions and case study presentations. You’ll see some unique polypropylene applications, go on the job with the Talon™ 2000 and a lot more.

Jim Johnston, Chief Innovation Officer at McElroy, will lead with Fusion Optimization: A New Fusion Standard. This generated a lot of buzz when it debuted at last year’s INFUSION, now Jim will discuss the rollout of this exciting new procedure which saves cooling time without sacrificing joint quality — a real game changer!

Need help understanding the regulatory changes to ASTM F2620 and the new PHMSA rules? Deanne Hughes, Innovation Project Manager at McElroy, will explain how these changes could affect you and actions you can take to be prepared.

Peter Dyke, Executive Director of the Alliance for PE Pipe, will present the Water Infrastructure Report Card. Learn how cities across the country are managing their infrastructure needs.

We’ll also make the quarterly TAF (Technical Advisory Forum) live at INFUSION19. Share your ideas to improve our products and have your questions answered by Engineering, Quality, Technical Services and Manufacturing staff members.

PRODUCT SHOWCASE

We’ll have an even bigger display of equipment at the Product Showcase held this year at our 51st Street facility. With a strong representation of both polyethylene AND polypropylene tools and accessories, we’ll have something for everyone — big, medium and large! Come take a closer look at our machines, see the latest enhancements and talk to the engineers who designed them.
