McElroy fusion lineup is known for long lives and rugged construction. But, like any other piece of machinery, regular maintenance can keep your machine and jobsite running smoothly. With a new year upon us, now’s the perfect time to make sure your equipment is ready to meet the project’s demands.
INSPECTION APP
In 2024, McElroy rolled out the McElroy Equipment Inspection App, which streamlines the inspection process for machine owners and operators.
Optimized for the DataLogger® 7, the app is available on both the Google Play store and the Apple App store. It can be used on any device and utilizes the user’s Vault™ credentials. For inspections, a set of custom instructions walk individuals through the entire inspection process. This makes it easier to spot any parts that need repair or attention.
A few other tips for routine inspections:

- Heater plates, cords, and thermometers
- Facer functionality, grease points, and facer blades
- Machine jaws, insert pins, and jaw inserts
- Batteries and battery cables
- Hydraulic hoses, fluid, filter, and gauges
- Tire pressure or track tension
- Machine fasteners, nuts, and clips
