It’s tradeshow season! McElroy personnel have traveled around the world in the last few months to attend industry tradeshows, demonstrating McElroy equipment and spreading the word about the benefits of HDPE pipe fusion.

Arpel-Naturgas Week 2024

Arpel, the Association of Oil, Gas, and Renewable Energy Companies of Latin America and the Caribbean, and NaturGas, the Columbian Natural Gas Association, organized Arpel-NaturGas Week 2024, which took place from April 8 to April 12 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Team McElroy was a participant at the Grupo Zambrano booth at the show.

For five days, international experts on energy issues, senior executives from the main oil and gas companies in the region, government authorities from different Latin American countries, academics, and industry professionals had the opportunity to discuss regional challenges, sustainable management, and the future of natural gas work in the area.


Mining Indaba 2024

Mining Indaba 2024 was four days of discussion on the African mining industry. Held in Cape Town, South Africa, Mining Indaba is the world’s largest African mining event and included high-profile guests like South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and DRC Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde.

This year’s theme for Mining Indaba was “Embracing the power of positive disruption: A bold new future for African mining.”

McElroy International Sales Manager Rafael Quintero attended the event to promote the many ways McElroy equipment can benefit projects in the mining industry, especially in its digital and innovative offerings like the TracStar® iSeries, DataLogger®, and Vault™, along with the cost, productivity, and low-carbon emissions of the TracStar line.


AQUASUR 2024

AQUASUR is the largest aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere. This three-day event brought together the movers and shakers of the international aquaculture industry from March 19 to March 21 in Punta Arenas, Chile.

Aquaculture is a growing industry that includes the breeding, rearing, and harvesting of fish, shellfish, algae, and other organisms in all types of water environments. McElroy International Sales Manager Nayib Joussef and Vice President of Global Sales Dave Hughes attended this year’s conference, touting the success of their equipment in a “marine donut” project in 2023 in Scandinavia.


Underground Infrastructure Conference

Underground Infrastructure Conference is the hub for meaningful learning and networking with underground infrastructure professionals. The conference revolves around the three pillars that define modern infrastructure: construction, rehabilitation, and asset management.

McElroy didn’t need to go too far to attend 2024’s Underground Infrastructure Conference. This year’s event was held in Oklahoma City, less than a two-hour drive from McElroy’s headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Account Manager Robbie Phillips and McElroy University Training Specialist Adam Hughes were in Oklahoma City from March 19 through March 21 for the event, demonstrating how machines like McElroy’s Acrobat™ can boost jobsite efficiency and operator safety.

Tailored for the sewer, water, gas, telecom, and electric industries, UIC included programming to help attendees to catch up on the latest industry updates and learn cutting-edge information.


AHR 2024

The AHR Expo brings together manufacturers & suppliers of all sizes & specialties to share ideas and showcase the future of HVACR technology. It’s the industry’s best place for OEMs, engineers, contractors, facility operators, architects, educators, and other professionals to experience everything new in HVACR and build the vital relationships that grow businesses and careers.

With more than 1,600 exhibitors, 50,000 attendees, and 370 speakers, AHR is one of the largest events for the polypropylene industry. Each year, McElroy sends a team of engineers, sales personnel, and university experts to speak with attendees, demonstrate equipment, and showcase the latest in our polypropylene lineup.
