This month’s newsletter takes us to Arequipa, Peru, where Johnny Condori Marcapura is fusing 90° elbow joints using a MegaMc® 1236 fusion machine and 32” SDR 11 HDPE pipe. The new line is needed for a temporary bypass at a pumping plant station.
The MegaMc 1236 is a mix of muscle and versatility. It is capable of butt fusion of most fittings without special holders or removal of the outer jaw. Mitered inserts are available for fabricating ells.
