New Technical Bulletins

Tech Bulletin 208

This new service bulletin was released to advise TracStar® 412i and TracStar® 618i owners of an available retrofit kit for machines manufactured prior to mid-March 2025 that adds a baffle to the front engine cowling that directs engine air away from the fusion carriage. This optional kit will change the direction of the air to improve temperature stability. Contact your McElroy distributor for more information.

Tech Bulletin 209

Due to decreased ability to support tablets, and obsolete components, McElroy has announced a trade-in program for the DataLogger® 6.

Now through December, we are running a trade-in program to incentivize owners to upgrade their DataLogger 6 units to DataLogger® 7 tablets. Trade-in incentive is for working or non-working units returned to McElroy and with the purchase of a new Datalogger 7.

Contact your McElroy distributor to get started on your trade-in. If you don’t have a distributor, CLICK HERE to access our online Distributor Locator Tool.

Technical bulletin reminder

Tech Bulletin 204

This bulletin addresses reported challenges in aligning TracStar® 412i and TracStar® 618i heaters concentrically to the pipe outside diameter and potentially affecting proper latching in the down position. This bulletin includes information about the parts necessary to add an eccentric adjustment pin to the heater arm latching mechanism. These parts were implemented into production units Feb 3, 2025. Owners of equipment produced before Feb. 3, 2025 that exhibit heater alignment or latching challenges can add this kit to resolve them.
