Share joint reports and jobs with Vault™ Connections

One of the latest additions to McElroy’s Vault capabilities is Vault Connections, which allow users to share joint reports and jobs with others.

To get started, you’ll need the Vault username of the person you would like to add as a connection.

The following steps will walk you through the process of adding a Vault Connection:

  1. From the top right menu (under your username) click on “Profile.”
  2. Scroll down to the “Connections” tile. This will list all connections as well as pending connections (not yet accepted).
  3. Click the + Add Button.
  4. Enter the Vault account username you would like to connect with and click “Invite.” Pending connections will be marked as “Cancel” rather than Remove.”
  5. Once the invitation is accepted by the Vault account user, navigate to the job or joint report you would like to share and click the “Share” icon.
  6. A list of all established connections will appear, click the box next to each user you would like to share with (you can make multiple selections).
  7. Shared content will now appear with the Share (link) icon to indicate it has been shared and is accessible to other connected parties. Please note: This is currently a moment-in-time capture, meaning the connected account does not receive real-time updates. Continuous sharing is being explored as a roadmap feature.
