Vault™ reports now available under ‘Archive’ tab

Based on channel partner feedback, we’re excited to announce a long-anticipated feature in which Vault™ reports (Excel and PDF) are downloaded in the background and stored under the new “Archive” list item on the left side navigation.

Here are the details on the current features 

  • Clicking the PDF/Excel generation button on a job will now bring up a confirm dialog box which:
    • Confirms the number of reports being downloaded
    • Directs the user to the new “Archive” list item on the left side navigation
  • The “Archive” navigation menu item will contain a red balloon notification showing the number of currently queued or in-process documents.
  • Any document download requests which are in progress will automatically show a numerical progress of individual reports. For example: 17 out of 42 reports as the download status.
  • On the new “Archive” interface there is a “Refresh” icon at the top if the user wants to manually refresh to check download progress.
  • When complete, the file itself is downloaded directly to the browser’s downloads window.
  • Contents of the documents on the “Archive” may be reviewed by clicking the down arrow next to the number of reports in the “Reports” column.
  • The current default is to show only the past month of document requests to keep list size down but filtering options are in place. This can be seen on the right side with pre-loaded time increments in the drop-down menu.

This feature will be able to handle large report downloads. The Vault window can even be closed and revisited to check if a download has completed!
